UK Registered & Accredited Member of the BACP
I am an Accredited and Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and have been registered since 2019.

BACP is one of the largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy in the UK. Registration and accreditation require:

• Verified professional training
• Supervised clinical practice
• Ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
• Adherence to the BACP Ethical Framework
• Commitment to professional accountability and safe practice

As a BACP member, I work in line with established UK ethical standards, including confidentiality, informed consent, professional supervision, and clear scope of practice. For clients based in the UK this means you are working with a regulated and professionally accountable practitioner.

United States Licensed Professional Counsellor (Texas)
For many years, I was licensed in the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) under the Texas State Board of Professional Counselors. This license required:

• A graduate degree in counselling
• Thousands of supervised clinical hours
• Successful completion of state licensing examinations
• Ongoing continuing education
• Compliance with state laws and ethical standards

​Holding a U.S. clinical license reflects extensive formal training and rigorous oversight within one of the largest mental health regulatory systems in the United States.
