Improving doctors' mental health and wellbeing around the world You Ok, Doc? is a charity that provides mental health support through education, webinars and peer support groups through the YOD? Huddles. I have recently become more involved as the Chief Therapist Officer and Safeguarding Officer, meaning I am responsible for as a group and providing well-being services to the medical community. Supporting the people of Ukraine PsyHelp helps Ukrainians with free emotional support and mental health services. I volunteer my time and expertise as a psychotherapist to those in need. Loss, Grief & Bereavement Support Centre for Better Health provides therapeutic support groups. This 8-week support group will encompass different forms of loss including partners, parents, children, friends, siblings, pets and other significant loved ones. You don’t have to grieve alone during this painful time. In this group, you can come and spend some time learning, sharing, and healing with others going through similar experiences. The group aims to provide a safe and confidential space for participants to share, listen, and discuss their personal stories. This group will provide a space to talk but will also ask participants to engage through wellbeing activities done in between sessions such as journals, creative activities and other reflective exercises.
LGBTQI+ Support Group, Dating and Relationships Provided through Centre for Better Health. The 8-week LGBTQ+ group provides participants a safe space to explore relationship topics with a blend of psycho-education, peer support and guided discussions. Everyone is welcome to join in this opportunity to learn, share experiences, and discover how others approach their relationships. The group hopes to give members a place to reflect on their own relationships and discover what works, what could be better, and address challenges that keep coming up for you. Topics of discussion will include intimacy, dating, unhealthy dynamics, and relationship structure like monogamy/ polyamory/ ENM.
